Aaron Tait is a straight, white, 40-year-old male. Yawn. So why the fuck is he in Moi? Well, his story is a little more interesting. He grew up in a Pentecostal Christian family. At 17 he went to war with the Australian military. By 24 he was living in an East African township sweating his way through his fifth bout of malaria and negotiating his way out of his eighth curse from a local witch doctor. After a decade supporting entrepreneurs across Africa and Asia, he is now a writer, working on his latest book, from which we are running a sexy little virginity-busting excerpt in this very issue. Home for now is Byron Bay where he lives with his straight, white, astounding 40-year-old wife Kaitlin and his two lion cubs of boys, Atlas and Finn.

What does pleasure mean to you?
I’ve found an inverse relationship has emerged for me; as I’ve spent less time striving ‘to please’ society and its many strangers, I’ve become far more in tune with how to experience pleasure myself and help the person I love the most find it too.
